Drivers Warned On Tyre Checks

A shocking 80 per cent of motorists don't check their tyres often enough.

The Highway Code reckons you should do so at least once a week, but a survey by breakdown organisation Green Flag has revealed most drivers don't. Worse still, it found a worrying one in 20 motorists never inspect their rubber's tread depth or pressures at all.
