Land Rover And Jag Going Green

Itss off-roaders are famous for their ability in the dirt, but Land Rover is keen to clean up its act by switching to electric hybrid engines. And Jaguar won't be far behind.

Joe Greenwell, chairman of the two Ford-owned companies, said: "We are considering alternative fuels for both brands." A prototype Land Rover hybrid could be shown when the Discovery is facelifted in 2008.
