Legend Is Top Of The Pop-ups

Honda's new Legend will feature a revolutionary pop-up bonnet to help improve pedestrian safety. In the event of an accident, pyrotechnic charges raise the hood so that a person's head won't come into contact with the hard engine block beneath.

While this feature wasn't showcased on the Honda Legend European Prototype unveiled in Geneva, a representative confirmed it would appear on the production model due in 2006.
