Rear Shunts In Reverse

The chance of being involved in a rear-end shunt has dropped by a fifth in the past 10 years, according to insurance firm Admiral. A study of claims revealed 26 per cent of all accidents were of this type in 1994, compared to 21 per cent last year. Such crashes cost the in-surance industry ΂£1.8billion a year.
