An extra 250mm has been added to the car's rear half, behind the B-pillar, making the passenger compartment even bigger. The Phantom's aluminium construction means there should be no loss of chassis rigidity, so the ride will be as refined as ever. Available now, the Phantom LWB is expected to cost £275,000-plus. Production will begin at the end of the year, with the highest demand expected from the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Meanwhile, its arch rival the Bentley Flying Spur - also unveiled at the Swiss event - has been confirmed as costing £115,000.
