New Cars Lose Their Shine Fast

Crashing your new car sounds like a nightmare, but for many motorists that's the cruel reality - on the day they take delivery.

In a survey of 50,000 claims, insurer Churchill found 600 new vehicles had been crashed within hours, while 3,240 were damaged in the first week. The survey also revealed 13,400 cars needed repairs within a month. Porsches were the worst affected.
