It's a first-ever look at the rear ends and cabins of the eagerly anticipated Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo. But there was also a chance to see the three-door versions.

The models are all made in the same factory in the Czech Republic, with 92 per cent of components being shared. However, there are styling differences between them, as our pictures reveal.

Under the bonnet, there's the choice of 1.0 petrol or 1.4-litre diesel engines, plus the option of a five-speed auto gearbox in the petrol model. UK prices and specs won't be released until the cars go on sale this summer, but they're expected to start at around ΂£6,500.

And what about sporty versions? Citroen told us there are no plans for a VTR model, although it will work with aftermarket suppliers to create bodykits.
