Bubbles To End Rubber Trouble?

A solid tyre has passed high-speed tests for roadworthiness - days after also completing endurance trials. Amerityre's experimental unit doesn't need inflating, and can't puncture due to the millions of air bubbles in its polyurethane foam construction.

Amerityre makes solid tyres for wheelchairs and bicycles, and hopes its new product will soon be acceptable as a car spare.
