The new XK will feature a low-slung driving position, simple hooded instruments and a centre console comprising advanced Alpine touch-screen technology to control the stereo, sat-nav and air-conditioning. Jaguar engineers are promising a lighter overall weight, sharper handling and better fuel economy than the old model. There's no word yet on prices, but it's expected the XK will carry a slight price premium over the current car.
