Cleaning Up

A survey commissioned by BP has found that 53 per cent of drivers spend at least 20 minutes each week cleaning their cars, in contrast to 27 per cent who spend 20 minutes cleaning their bathroom and 21 per cent who spend the same amount of time on their living rooms.

The survey also revealed drivers in the north of England care more about car cleanliness than those in the south: 52 per cent of northeners believing it is important, compared with only 40 per cent of Southeners. And it concluded that nearly a third of of UK drivers have tried BP's performance fuel, BP Ultimate, which has engine-cleansing properties.
