Lane Bid To Cut Jams

Car pool lanes are spreading. One has already been given the go-ahead on the Bedfordshire section of the M1, and now the Department for Transport is considering another on the M25. Research is being carried out to see if lanes solely for cars carrying two or more people cut congestion.
