Toyota 'School' On Way

A new ΂£11.2million facility is to be built at Toyota's Burnaston plant in Derbyshire. The firm's European Global Production Training Centre will help 1,000 workers from across the Continent each year. Fifteen lecturers will be employed to provide the tuition on production and maintenance skills when the site opens in January next year. The Japanese company has eight factories across Europe.
