Sportage Called Back

A programming problem in the ESP stability control system is being blamed for a recall which affects Kia's new-shape Sportage. Nearly 1,000 UK cars are affected by the fault, which could see the brakes applied without the driver pushing the pedal. Models with 2.0-litre and 2.7-litre engines in XS trim are being called back, and owners are being notified.
