New VW, Ford Vans Get A Grip

Two new 4x4s from Ford and Volkswagen are set to go head-to-head - but these are vans. Following VW's news of a 2.5 TDI T5 Transporter 4MOTION, blue oval bosses have told Auto Express about plans for a four-wheel-drive Transit.

Giving better traction, it will look the same as the standard model. The newcomer arrives next year, and is likely to be used by the emergency services.
