How The Next MG Could Have Looked

If SAIC had bought MG Rover, perhaps this would have been the next-generation TF roadster! Called the Geely Chengbao - which translates to City Castle - the sports car is due to go on sale next year. However, it's yet to appear in the metal; this picture was all there was to see at the Shanghai Motor Show.

Check out the two-seater's unique round roof and retro Corvette-inspired American styling. Geely currently makes two hatchback models in China, but is looking to expand its range to compete in all sectors of the market.
