Council's Bid To Shift Old Motors

A local council has come up with a potentially lucrative way of solving its abandoned car problem; bosses are selling motors on auction website eBay.

Most recently under the virtual hammer was a 1962 Rover P5, dumped in a car park six years ago. Westminster Council in London is behind the scheme. A spokesman said: "Sales on eBay cost less than traditional auctions."
