It was only a matter of time before the three-door Audi A3 caught up with the rest of the family and got the firm's new chrome grille - and here it is.

But the restyled front end isn't the only change that's been made to the car. For the first time ever, the model will be available in quattro S line trim. There are also new colours and alloy wheels on offer - which feature inserts the same shape as the grille
- as well as the option of soft nappa leather covers for the sports seats.

Under the skin, the sports suspension has been revised, and now offers a more comfortable ride, while updated ESP stability control ensures this is one of the safest hatchbacks on the road. Prices, engine choices and specifications will remain largely unchanged.

The revamped A3 is available to order in showrooms now, and should be ready for delivery by late summer.
