New Lambo Revives SV Badge

The SV badge is back. The mag's exclusive spy shot this week reveals Lamborghini is putting a new version of the Gallardo through final testing - and insiders at the firm have told us it will be called the SV.

The name dates back to the Miura supercar of the Sixties, and last appeared on the Diablo a decade ago. Set to debut at September's Frankfurt Motor Show, the big giveaways are the revised side vents, but further visual changes are expected. The 5.0-litre V10's power will go up from 500bhp to 550bhp.
