Aquada Runs Aground

Sales plans for the Gibbs Aquada appear to be sinking. Launched in 2003, bosses hoped the rich and famous would snap up the ΂£150,000 amphibious machine. However, no buyers have been found, despite Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson expressing an interest and Gibbs cutting the price by ΂£75,000. A spokesman said the firm was now trying to sell the Aquada's technology, rather than making vehicles.
