Zagato's town flier charges in

16th August 2005

Called the Volpe, it's a zero-emissions electric vehicle, and comes in two forms. The basic model is capable of 40mph; a hot 4WD version hits 84mph.

The two-seater is charged using a standard mains supply to provide a range of nearly 100 miles. But its batteries can be topped up via a natural gas-powered generator.
