Bus cams branch out

Fare's fair! That's the message from one of Britain's biggest councils, which is cracking down on illegal bus lane hogs. Bosses in Greater Manchester are set to fine motorists ΂£60 for driving in public transport lanes, using a network of CCTV cameras. Currently, only the police can dish out such penalties, but this is the first scheme of its kind in the UK outside London.
