Bone shaker for speeders

A shattering image of a badly broken leg is fronting a hard-hitting campaign designed to cut speeding.

A series of adverts across Scotland costing £650,000 is to be paid for by revenue from Gatso cameras. The ads will appear on posters, TV and radio.

Cathy Jamieson, Scotland's Justice Minister, said: "Speeding has wider implications than a fine or penalty points. It can have life-threatening consequences." Other images include a crashed car with a 'baby on board' sticker and a young man at a grave.
