'Well done, my Sonata!'

Half of drivers regularly congratulate their motor on a job well done, give words of encouragement ahead of a long journey and even discuss problems with them, says a new survey.

The poll, commissioned by the organisers of the British Motor Show, found that 40 per cent of people thought their car had a personality, while 19 per cent were worried about how it felt.
