Wide loads' Net gain

A new website has been launched to help haulage firms plan the movement of abnormal loads. The Electronic Service Delivery for Abnormal Loads (ESDAL) will let hauliers contact the authorities while providing a mapping system to plan routes, taking into account the impact on traffic. Around 400,000 requests are made annually for abnormal load movements.
