Now BMW is taking to the air

Stylists from BMW's Designworks department have helped Airbus work on its forthcoming A350. The plush, car-like cabins will be unveiled at next month's Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, and incorporate a projection system which displays images on the ceiling, making it look as if the roof has opened to reveal the sky.

Perhaps seeing the sky on the ceiling of an aircraft isn't the most calming measure for a nervous airline passenger, but the technology's ground breaking.
