Little info is yet available about the new XK's engine range and technical specifications. However, it's almost sure that a 4.2-litre V8 engine will be part of the line-up. As with other new Jaguar's and the ALC, the 2006 XK will also benefit from Jaguar's aluminium body architecture technology. It is expected that the new Jaguar XK will be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with sales starting soon after that. The new XK will be a 2+2 seater and of course there will be a coupί¿½ version as well.
