Hyundai Sonata facelift
Sneak preview of the facelifted Sonata, caught in California

Just last week we saw a Hyundai Sonata prototype in the Big 3’s backyard – at the Detroit Airport – as engineers were dropping someone off at the Northwest Airline’s check-in area! And now, a week later, we caught it – this time not too far from their proving grounds in California City, California!
This mid-cycle update will tie the styling cues of the all-new Genesis and Sonata a bit closer together with a similar grille and other features. The updated Sonata sports all new front and rear fascias, including updated headlamps and taillights. We’re anticipating this to arrive for the 2009 model year.
