These spy shots reveal a very special Mercedes Mercedes C63 AMG – but unfortunately you will not be able to buy it even if you offer double the price of the standard model.

The car snapped outside the Nürburgring today will be the Pace-Car for the German touring car DTM final held at the Hockenheim race circuit in Germany next weekend (October 12th to 14th).

According to our snapper, the car is equipped with an even more powerful engine – and is said to “sound like hell”, leading us to believe there are some mechanical upgrades…

Exterior modifications, however, are limited to the fact that fog-lamps are missing in order to improve air stream to engines and brakes – plus two additional, very narrow air-intakes on the outer edges of the front splitter. And of course the flashing yellow lights that mark this model out as a pace car!
