The sleek three-door has already been revealed in concept form at the
Frankfurt Motor Show in September. But these spy shots give the clearest view yet of the production model.
Snapped with a camera phone as engineers took a break from their test route, the images show all the details of the stylish machine. It will break new ground for
Renault by offering a cheaper alternative to the likes of the Audi A5 and forthcoming Volkswagen Passat Coupé.
The sporty model is based on the same platform as the five-door, and gets four-wheel steering, plus a choice of punchy petrol and diesel engines. A flagship version will be powered by a new V6 diesel, producing up to 260bhp. But this model is unlikely to be offered from launch.
When the Coupé arrives at the end of the year, prices should range from about £23,000 to £30,000-plus.
