Chevrolet Matiz

It might look like a battered old Daewoo, but you're actually looking at a test mule for the new Chevrolet Matiz.

Barely disguised, save for some black cladding on the rear bumper and white panels in front of the A-pillar, this unnassuming current Matiz body is sitting on top of a brand new chassis - codenamed M300 and set to underpin the next-generation Matiz and Beat superminis.

The all-new Chevrolet Matiz wil hit showrooms in Spring 2009, though there's still no official word on when the funky new Beat will debut.
