This heavily disguised car is soon to be a global star! Our photographers caught a glimpse of this camoflagued Chevvy before it disappeared back into hiding.

The next generation Astra rival is nearly showroom-ready, and has followed the trend of it's Vauxhall competitor in shrinking the high-rise shoulder line to a tailed off boot.

This car will be sold around the world, with differing names, from the Chevrolet Optra, Holden Viva Hatch in Australia, and Asian buyers can snap up the Suzuki Reno.

The Lacetti is due out in 2010, and expect an estate model in 2011. There's no word on price yet, but expect expect the base-model to cost around £11,000.
