The Korean firm is cranking up pressure on its rival with a new addition to the Cee’d family, designed to rival the Golf Plus - spied here for the first time.
Meanwhile, Hyundai is set to develop its own version of the model, badging the car ‘Matrix’ and replacing its current C-Segment car of the same name.
Both cars are expected to make their debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will be powered a range of 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines, offering competitive CO2 and MPG figures.
