Budget brand Dacia is expanding its range.

The Dacia SUV, descendent of the otherworldly Duster concept, will be based on the hugely successful Nissan Qashqai.

The nameless SUV will be sharing components and dimensions with the Nissan, though Renault is set to provide the engines.

The pictures show the car in heavy disguise, though our illustration gives a good impression of what a Dacia SUV could look like.

Like the other Dacia products, we’re not holding our breath for UK launch.

However, we do know Dacia will be displaying the car (or a concept based on it) later in the year.
