Earlier today we brought you an official teaser shot of the upcoming Megane CC- now we can show you the clearest spy shots yet of the new convertible.
Compared to other mules we've seen, this one is sparsely camouflaged and reveals the detailed shape of the car for the first time. The front is heavily inspired by the hatchback Megane- including the high bonnet edges- while at the back there's a huge boot to accomodate the roof mechanism.
Despite the heavy camouflage at the rear of the car, today's teaser shot reveals details about the lamps and lines that will complete the CC's sleek new look.
The new 'coupé-convertible' comes complete with a glass folding roof to give the impression of space in the cabin, even when the roof is up.
Power options will mirror those offered elsewhere in the Megane range. So expect to see an entry-level 1.5-litre dCi engine and a 178bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Priced at around £20,000, the Megane CC will go on sale in May.
