The Mercedes CL has got a fresh new look, and a new name to boot. According to our spies the newcomer will be re-named the S-Class Coupé when it goes on sale in early 2011.
The styling updates are subtle but expect to see a more upright grille which features one chrome bar, rather than three. Also new will be the LED daytime running lights and refreshed front and rear bumpers.
Under the bonnet, power is expected to come from a range of smaller, more efficient turbocharged V6 and V8 engines. A hybrid model is also in the works.
The S-Class Coupé is likely to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October this year.

That is a crying shame!! :( The CL has always been my favourite Merc... CL - RIP.
What a classy and classic looking car. The lines just flow. It's quite attractive, to say the least. It has this "leaning forward" look that makes it look fast while sitting still.
