Nissan is giving the Micra a brush-up – and here is the first picture of the facelifted model. At a glance, the updates may be hard to spot, but look closely and you’ll see new chrome grille surrounds, tweaked headlights and black B-pillars.
Inside, the cabin gets new materials and trim colours, while equipment now includes a Bluetooth hands-free phone system that has steering wheel controls and is channelled through the stereo.
Other new kit includes an MP3 player socket on the stereo and a speed limit warning system that chimes when the driver passes a preset speed. What’s more, the Micra range has been simplified, with new Visia, Acenta and Tekna trims bringing it into line with the Qashqai crossover model. The Micra debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week alongside the Mixim electric car concept (Issue 976). Sales will start before the end of the year.
