This has been a great car for the money, under £6,500. Some of the plastics are a bit cheap and the drivers seat has worn in a hole, but all the important bits, engine, bodywork etc have been first class. I do all the maintenance myself, because the dealer prices are just too high. In summary I would buy another Nissan, it has been the best new car I have ever had, but it won't be a Micra because I now need a larger car.

It's no secret that old Nissans keep on going. The trick is to keep servicing them. I have never had a car as reliable as this one and although it is old it is certainly still in very good shape. Its also very economical and cheap to service and insure. Loose change running costs !

after some of the cars i have driven it is one of the better ones.Good city car and on motorway too and country roads. Only one niggle wears tyres on outside edge had tracking checked and it was spot on garage said it see this all the time on micras

As I have had 14 Micras, that surely must say that I am very satisfied,
Only the Road Licence gets me very annoyed, just because the car is a 1.4 automatic, I am charged top price for a licence.

it does what it says on the tin... a good small second car, great for economy and driving to and from work. Four doors is good - although a bit small to get a whole week's shopping.
