While 23rd overall for comfort and 36th in the running costs category are decent positions, Nissan’s neatly styled soft-roader is far from the finished article.
The Sunderland-built machine has been a big hit for its maker, but 90th in the performance ranks and 86th for build quality suggest that Nissan needs to make the Qashqai more fun, and a lot more robust.

No change for Nissan, which is 26th for the second year running. Given how many SUVs it builds, a mid-table running costs result is superb. But it needs to improve in all areas to shift up the chart.

I love my new car I was thinking of getting a higher wheel based car but nissan had not crossed my mind for they were very " plastic " inside and the interior looked " cheap "!
But whilst I was at the showroom for something else the dealer rep sugested I tried it on for size and assured me that the cheap interior had been addressed and was lovely now !
I was NOT DISSAPOINTED and decided afte a test drive that I MUST have one !!!r

This car has been totally outstanding, the quoted MPG is 36.6 avg, when on a run we easily achieve 45-50 mpg. 2.0dci auto superb.
When we had the heavy snow this car really came alive, it never got into difficulty and exceeded expectations.
Of course when we first purchased this car we did get a tremendous deal that did help in the purchase decision.

Brilliant car, it has surpassed all my expectations, i have previously owned 2 honda accords before this but the Qashqai +2 is by far a better vehicle, the interior trim isn't quite as upmarket as the honda but the overall package is much better, especially with the excellent finance deals the manufacturer was offering.
