A great car which has lived up to all expectations. It protected me in a serious near head on accident with minimal damage. Performance is good, it's practical for the type of car it is, it's comfortable and well made. Even maintenance costs aren't bad although I did feel £155 to change the brake fluid was excessive (I had it done elsewhere). I'd buy another. Only dissappointment was depreciation. I bought a Porsche because of residual value but it appears to have devalued rapidly. Maybe due to the financial crisis however.

This car has exceeded all my expectations. Yes, it was expensive to buy, and yes, it's expensive to maintain, but combine the sheer thrill of driving pleasure and performance along with unmatched handling means that I am actually reluctant to swap it for anything else. In my opinion, nothing can beat it, which is Porsche's only problem! If it wasn't so good I would have swapped it some time ago. I never usually keep my cars any longer than 2 years, but the car is fast approaching it's 5th birthday and it's still like new!

The Boxster S is a practical roadster that gives pure driving pleasure. It handles like a dream and has the power to excite. In everyday use it works well and it is not fazed by the UK's appalling road surfaces. To hear the engine note with the top down is better than any Bose system! Porsche support is first class and although it costs to keep a warranty on a car until its is nine years old is worth every penny.

I've not used the car enough ! It handles brilliantly and in my perhaps too gentle hands is returning 35 mpg. Luggage space is good for the type-golf clubs in the rear locker, trolley in the front. The hard top is great for winter. A great all rounder!
