A simple and intuitive interface made Microsoft’s AutoRoute unbeatable. It requires 1.1GB of space, planned our route in seven seconds, found every tiny village and gave an instruction list with map zoom for each one. We also liked the right-click link to aerial photos of a given area. The optional GPS function turned it into sat-nav with spoken instructions, and the price from PC World, which included delivery, made it our Best Buy.
