A weighty wonder which is the most expensive torch here, but it’s certainly got the right credentials in the performance stakes. The ultra-bright LED gives off a fantastic bluey light – similar to that delivered by cars’ xenon lamps. What’s more, we liked the positive power switch on the base and the handy cord. But it needs three AAA batteries, and that price is hard to swallow.
