Predictably, JVC has loaded the AVX with goodies, starting with the 6.5-inch TFT colour screen. There are also 11 preset EQ settings and a neat CD Text display. Behind the electronic folding front panel are the CD/DVD and SD card slots, allowing MP3 and WMA files to be played. It’s iPod-ready and can control most accessories. And while the display isn’t a touchscreen – so some operations can prove a bit fiddly – at £100 less than rivals, it’s a worthy double DIN Best Buy.
