Own-brand repellent from Halfords makes no big claims about how frequently it should be re-applied. But after three weeks, the treated section of our test screen was still resisting water. Similar to the Rain-X, but cheaper, it’s simple to apply, starts beading at lower speeds than most, and in our cold test the ice simply brushed away. Our Best Buy.
