Scalextric Renault R26

You don’t get much more up-to-date than this. Barely has the season ended and you could be driving world champ Fernando Alonso’s Renault R26. It was mighty fast, as you’d expect, although its long wheelbase coped well with tight hairpins. It looks great, too, thanks to the slimline engine which allows for severely sculpted rear panels to give ultimate aerodynamic efficiency – just like the real thing. It’s the same with damage, as a heavy shunt will see the nose and wing fly off.
