When light is limited, the human eye is said to be more sensitive to some colours than others. And that’s the idea behind the NightVision’s red, flip-down lens – although we prefer the unfiltered light. The LED output is intense yet gives a reasonable spread, which is impressive from such a tiny unit. And it scores for being small, light and having long battery life.
