Having four AA batteries gives this eight-LED torch a reasonable user time, but its weight is an issue. Clamp nearly a quarter of a kilogram to your forehead and it will soon become noticeable. The 75mm protrusion proves restrictive if you’re working in a tight spot under the bonnet, too. And although light output is good and wide, we don’t like the twist-style switch.
