The entry-level Draper torch uses a single Krypton bulb, which provides generally good illumination. Straight ahead light is pretty intense, and we like the wide spread, too. But the bulb’s 4.87-volt thirst tends to sap the two batteries quickly – especially as there’s only a single power level. With 57mm from pad to torch front, this is reasonably compact, however.
