It was a close-run thing between this and Halfords' other product. Although it's simple to hook on and off, the clip could have been a little stronger on this kit, but the protection for your phone provided by the six neat, little pads in the cradle is excellent. What's more, the cradle itself could be adjusted quickly to suit our range of mobiles. Vent-mounting is the easier option, because the bracket is more fiddly to sort out.

Good for Samsung Galaxy s2?

Looking for a holder for the Samsung Galaxy S2 smart phone with otterbox commuter case. Phone (with case) is about 70mm wide and weighs about 180 grams. Wondering if the arms of this cradle open wide enough and if the vent clips are strong enough to hold the phone in place for a couple of years (not weeks). Answers anybody?
