Only 1psi over on the gauge test, Halfords’ twin-barrel impressed, as this is well within the British Standard tolerances. The valve connector was easy to fit, although the hose was shorter than the rest here. But inflating gave us the most trouble, because the small footplate did not offer much grip. Our foot kept slipping, and the whole unit moved as we pumped.
