Raleigh Boardwalk

We had to cut this test short – we couldn’t fit the pedals due to stripped threads. And that’s a pity, as the Boardwalk is better at riding than folding. We like the fact it has a long, stable frame and seven gears, but the folding mechanism was disappointing, with stiff catches and a strap to hold all the parts together. Even then, it was among the biggest on test, and certainly not one you’d want to carry very far.
